To Whom It May Concern,
My name is Harriet Isecke, and I am the CEO of a small educational computer company that is
developing automatically adaptive web-based products (Readorium and Readorium Rising Reader) to
help struggling upper elementary and middle school students comprehend nonfiction text in the area of
science. Our company has been funded by three Small Business Innovative Research Grants through the
US Department of Education.
This summer, Greg Volynsky worked as a volunteer intern for our company, Mtelegence. He did an
outstanding job in every way. Greg is extremely bright, very conscientious, and easy to work with. He
learns quickly and was always ready to pitch in no matter what was asked of him. Because of his strong
background in the sciences, Greg was able to help us explain complex topics in simple text for struggling
readers. This is a difficult task, and he did it beautifully. He also worked on a project where he charted
the most popular novels students read in schools and determined companion science articles that we
could write to help students compare fictionalized science to the real thing. He wrote several articles
himself that we will publish this year. Greg is so conscientious that he even did extra work at home.
I would highly recommend this young man for whatever position you are offering. Please feel free to
contact me if you wish for any additional information.
